Are you passionate about student wellbeing and inclusion?
Claydon High School is seeking a skilled, empathetic, and highly organised Inclusion Coordinator – SEMH and Wellbeing to champion the mental health, emotional wellbeing, and inclusion of our students. You will work with the inclusion team to lead the response to students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will play a vital role in safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration.
This new role in the school is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting vulnerable learners to access education, thrive emotionally and make progress across all aspects of school life.
Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient and highly organised. Proven experience of supporting students with SEMH needs, an understanding of current safeguarding procedures and the ability to build strong, professional relationships with all stakeholders are crucial to this role.
Claydon High School is a popular, oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex. We are a small school with 771 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school. As part of the Penrose Learning Trust we also work closely with other schools within the MAT to achieve “excellence through collaboration”.
If you would like to have a chat about the post or visit the school please contact Sue Perrotton, Headteachers PA (admin@claydonhigh.com).
Closing date: Midday Tuesday 10th June 2025
Interview date: w/c 16th June 2025
Penrose Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to provide references, undergo employment checks and an enhanced disclosure via the DBS.
