‘Be the best you can be’

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Claydon High School as Headteacher’s PA.  We all know the Head’s PA is the one who really runs the school!  The role is there to support the Headteacher with the administrative side of running the school.  You will see through the job description the variety of responsibilities and duties needed.  This will include dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information at times.

Ultimately, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is wholly trustworthy.  Having experience of working in an education setting is desirable, however, the ability to use a range of ICT software is important.  As is the ability to make a good cup of tea at the appropriate time!

Claydon High School is a popular, oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex.  We are a small school with 771 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school.  As part of the Penrose Learning Trust we also work closely with other schools within the MAT to achieve “excellence through collaboration”.

If you would like to have a chat about the post or visit the school, please contact Mark Ismay - Headteacher.
