Attendance and Punctuality
At Claydon High School we are aiming for all of our young people to have good attendance. This is 96% attendance and above. But what does this mean...
- 95% attendance means that your child has missed 9 days of school in a complete school year
- 90% attendance means that your child has missed 19 days of school, the equivalent of half a day every week
- 80% attendance means that your child has missed eight weeks of school. Attendance of below 90% over 5 years is equivalent to your child missing half a year of school
- Consistent attendance of below 80% over 5 years means that your child misses a whole year of school
You can find your child's attendance information on the Arbor app.
